Beautiful rose-colored Gomphrena for cut flowers. Excellent for dried flowers too. Wonderful in bouquets and in the garden. In the garden it’s medium height makes it ideal to plant between shorter plants such as the toothache plant and taller flowers such as Zinnias. Unusual, glowing, 1 1/2" carmine blooms on long stems. Also known as globe amaranth. Ht. 18–20".
LIGHT PREFERENCE:Sun.
PLANT SPACING: 6-8". No pinching or support is necessary.
HARDINESS ZONES:Annual.
HARVEST: Fresh: Harvest when flowers are in color but before fully open. Dried: Harvest when flowers are completely open; hang to dry.
SOIL REQUIREMENTS:Any soil with good drainage.
USES: Cut flower or bedding plant.
