Eden Gem Melon

This is an old favorite at Wildland Gardens. The only melon I’ve grown every year without question or issue. A small melon you can eat on your own in one sitting. I love their taste. Sweet, fragrant, melt in your mouth deliciousness. It’s open-pollinated so you can save your own seeds.

LIGHT PREFERENCE: Sun

PLANT SPACING: 8-12 inches

HARVEST: This is a slip melon which is ripe when it comes freely from the vine. Do not cut or pull the fruit as this means it’s not at all ripe. You can also smell the ripe fruit. Get them before the raccoons do.

SOIL REQUIREMENTS: Well-drained, moist, fertile soil.
