Eucalyptus
One plant in 4.5 inch deep pot
Although eucalyptus is considered a perennial in Zones 9–11. It can usually over winter here in Central Arkansas if grown with south exposure and protection from the north wind. We wrap ours in cloth when it’s going to get very cold. It can also be grown in a pot and taken inside for cold nights. This variety has large silvery blue-green leaves. Wonderful scented stems can be add to cut flower bouquets and dried in arrangements.
LIGHT PREFERENCE: Sun.
SOIL REQUIREMENTS: Well-drained fertile soil.
PLANT HEIGHT: 24-36”
PLANT SPACING: 12-24".
HARVEST: Fresh: Harvest anytime after leaves start to feel leathery. Easily preserved with glycerin.
USES: Excellent cut or dried flower foliage. Accent in beds. Excellent container plants
