Kellogg’s Breakfast Heirloom Tomato
Kellogg’s Breakfast Heirloom Tomato
One plant in 4.5 inch pot.
We are trying this heirloom tomato because a good friend had success with it in her garden here in Central Arkansas. It boasts many awards for its flavor. The color of an orange inside and out. Very large and delicious. Try it out and let us know how it does for you! Indeterminate.
open-pollinated. Good for seed saving
INDETERMINATE (Climbing): Should be staked, trellised, or caged, and pruned for best results; fruit ripens over an extended period.
PRUNING: Indeterminates likely benefit by removing all suckers under the first strong branch directly below the first flower cluster. The lower bottom suckers often miss trellis supports, set fruit closer to soil, take energy from upper parts, and encourage spread of disease from soil.
