One plant in 4.5 inch deep pot.
The lunchbox variety of sweet peppers continue to outproduce the other varieties in our garden. Great in salad and for grilled salsa. Red fruits that turn from green to red at full maturity. Tapered, thick-walled, 2-3 lobed fruits are 4-5" long, and are deliciously sweet and fruity. Medium-size plants yield well. Can be grown in a large pot.
LIGHT PREFERENCE: Sun
PLANT SPACING: Transplant out after frost when the soil is warm and weather is settled. Ideal seedlings have buds, but no open flowers. Set plants 12-18" apart in rows 24-36" apart.
HARVEST: Pick the first peppers promptly when they reach full size to encourage further fruit set. Wash and hold at 45°F (7°C) and 95% relative humidity.
