Max Pickling Cucumber

Last year we had some difficulty with our cucumbers so we are trying this new variety which has more disease resistance. Its a 1.5 inch pickling cucumber with dense flesh and a sweet flavor that doesn't become bitter with hot days. 

If you've been having difficulty with cucumbers wilting and dying they could be suffering from a virus in your soil. This variety is resistant to Angular Leaf Spot, Anthracnose, Cucumber Mosaic Virus, Papaya Ringspot Virus, Powdery Mildew, Scab, Watermelon Mosaic Virus, and Zucchini Yellow Mosaic Virus.

LIGHT PREFERENCE: Sun

SOIL REQUIREMENTS: Average garden soil. Too much nitrogen will increase leaf growth but not cucumber production.

PLANT SPACING: 12”

HARVEST: Harvest daily once cucumbers appear
