This variety is native to North America and is commonly known at Swamp Milkweed. It has large pink and rose florets and sturdy stems. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Larval host for monarch butterflies. Native to North America. Perennial in Zones 3–8.

PLANT HEIGHT: 28-40 inches depending on soil fertility
PLANT SPACING: 12-24"
HARVEST: 1/2 to 2/3 of flowers are open. If stems wilt after harvest, rehydrate and they will come back
CAUTION: Milky sap may cause eye and skin irritation. Can be toxic if ingested.
SOIL:Well-drained, sandy loam to poor soil.
USES:Cut flower. Borders, containers, and butterfly gardens.
