Purple Sweet Potato

One plant in 4.5 deep pot 

We love this unusual purple sweet potato! It's a little less sweet, and more starchy than the orange variety. Awesome as sweet potato fries or as a pureed soup. The plants do very well in our gardens. We use cardboard and mulch around plants to limit weed growth. Harvest in October before the first frost.

SOIL REQUIREMENTS: Will grow in a variety of soil types. Mulch will reduce weed competition
