Rosemary Plant
Rosemary Plant
One plant in 4.5 inch deep pot
Pine-scented, savory, and culinary favorite. Native to the Mediterranean region, rosemary has silvery needle-like foliage and delicate flowers. Many of us lost our rosemary during the sudden cold spell. Usually it can over-winter just fine! Plant in a protected spot near a pathway or rock garden. Slow to grow at first it quickly catches up and can grow to a fairly large plant in its first year. It can also be grown in a pot.
LIGHT PREFERENCE: Sun
SOIL REQUIREMENTS: Grows best in light, well-drained soil.
PLANT HEIGHT: 18-60".
PLANT SPACING: 8-24". Plant at 8-10" if growing as an annual. Plant at 24-36" if growing as a perennial.
HARVEST: Harvest begins in approximately 80-100 days from planting for stem tips or 120-180 days for bunching. To dry, hang small bunches of stems in a dray location out of direct sunlight.
