Striped Armenian Cucumber

We are excited to try these for the first time as they're supposed to be very tasty. The unusual, slightly fuzzy, serpentine fruits are slightly ridged with alternating dark- and light-green stripes.  Despite its shape, Striped Armenian is not a true cucumber, but is a member of the melon family. Open-pollinated and good for seed saving. 

LIGHT PREFERENCE: Sun

SOIL REQUIREMENTS: Average garden soil. Too much nitrogen will increase leaf growth but not cucumber production.

PLANT SPACING: 12”

HARVEST: Harvest daily once cucumbers appear
