The Giant Zucca gourd (Lagenaria siceraria) is a vigorous heirloom vine that can produce fruits weighing between 30 and over 100 pounds. Frequently grown on trellises for its decorative appeal, the young gourds are edible with a flavor like summer squash, while mature fruits develop a tough, durable shell ideal for crafting. 

LIGHT PREFERENCE: Full Sun (they will not tolerate any shade) 

PLANT SPACING: 12-24 inches, vines can be 20 feet long 

HARVEST: Let them grow all season long!
